Abstract:
Forced to leave sunny California to live in the gloomy house of his grandmother New England, Cassie regrets his former life. Especially since his new school, the flamboyant Faye did not seem to carry in his heart. In the series "I tried to understand the general enthusiasm for an author, but no, decidedly no There is ... Will I try again and Aaaahh ... what a pleasant surprise! ", here is LJ Smith. His saga flagship journal of a vampire "left me with marble, but I admit that his "secret circle" rather seduced me.
On vacation in Cape Cod, Cassie longs to return to California when she meets a young man on the beach who tries to escape with two other boys. In a few words exchanged, Cassie is in love, and disappointed when he disappears. To top it all, his mother tells him that instead of returning under the Californian sun they would go and live in New Salem ... What a program.
In her new high school, Cassie will be sidelined up Diana's what takes him under his wing, is increasing its popularity. From there she learns who she really is, who his new friends, and who is the mysterious young man from the beach.
Nothing new under the sun, but the atmosphere created by LJ Smith wraps the reader in a cocoon of mysticism and history certainly offers him a simple, but involved.
The characters are endearing, even if we find the essential of the genre, and the plot is well done, served with a pen effective.
It is with pleasure that I read more.
