Twelfth and final volume of a Saga me hooked from the first pages, I was so in love with the universe and characters created by Anne Robillard. I trembled, hoped, and even shed a few larmouilles following their adventures, devouring volumes one after the other. And here comes "Irianeth" long awaited, and dreaded. The author has already proved that no person is immune, and I'm already wondering who will get out, and who fall into this final battle that will see the end of Amecareth and Asbeth. Yes, in my mind is clear, is the only possible outcome.

The last page is turned, the feelings are numerous. First the good fortune to have followed my hero again, and have had a good time. But also sad that this adventure ends. And then a bit of disappointment because of the end a little too quick and easy, and Amecareth Asbeth, who gave the Knights a hard time for years, were defeated too easily for my taste. Then some relationships between the characters were promising and are swept with a wave of the hand, the author has created an outlet providential.

So yes, some details are not as I would have liked, but we must recognize that all is well worth a visit, and "Emerald Knights" is still my meaning the largest (and best) fantasy saga Francophone past ten years.
